Our wall protectors allow you to create a secure, elegant, and damage-free installation. If used on both sides of your installation, Baby Gate Guru Wall Protectors can extend a gate's maximum width by 1 1/4". Each wall protector provides 5/8" of extra spacing from the wall. If you still need to extend your gate's width further, look for our Extra Long Spindle Rods to add additional inches to your gate's reach.

These wall protectors are designed specifically to save your walls and other home finishes from holes, scuffs, paint scratches, dents, and other damage that can be caused by pressure-mounted gates or general pressure rods. They work by spreading out the force applied to your wall over a wider surface area, diffusing the pressure against the soft, rubber-like backing.

No tools or hardware are required, as the wall protectors are held in place by pressure alone. The rubbery, padded ends help grip the walls without causing damage. Each set comes with 4 wall protectors, one for each spindle rod in a typical pressure gate installation.

The soft, rubbery back pads and protects the wall, while textured dots provide grip to prevent the gate from shifting. We take pride in creating a beautiful final product that goes above and beyond your needs. Choose from a clean white, classic black, or elegant bronze to beautifully match your gate and existing home decor.

For even more installation flexibility, use our Wall Protectors in combination with Baby Gate Guru Extra Long Spindle Rods (sold separately). These 12cm (4.7") rods can potentially extend the maximum width of your gate by another 3", helping it fit in wider openings.

You can also use our Spindle Rods and Wall Protectors with our Banister Y-Spindle Rods (sold separately) to install your gate at the bottom of stairs. This provides padding on all sides for a damage-free installation, even on painted walls and wooden banisters.

Note that pressure-mounted safety gates should never be installed at the top of staircases. Only hardware-mounted gates are suitable in those locations.
